JonHayward Posted August 28 Share Posted August 28 Sort of a Chief newbie. I have a simple rectangular gable-roofed garage structure with living space on 2nd floor. I have roof build set to ignore 2nd floor (working fine). I am trying to build an external area (calling it a porch currently) but functionally a carport and I want the shed roof to attach to the outside of the exterior wall - below the main roof eave. I cannot figure out how to attach this shed roof to the wall. it wants to build it by joining to current roof with either a single pitch across it all or giving me the option to have separate lower and upper pitch. Is there a way build this simple shed roof and not have it try to join with main structure roof planes? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
