Floating Dormer Question - Plan Appearance

Good morning,

 

I've got floating dormers on my roof.  It appears with the roof hole, roof planes and walls showing.

 

Is there a way to get the plan representation to look graphically proper in plan without having to explode the dormer or add filled CAD linework over it?

Hi Jim,

I just tested this, and it appears that you have to explode it to get the look and control of what you want to see.

I also don't see any way of setting the appearance in default settings.
