Eaves under roof of gable roof over a porch

I created a manual gable "dormer" on the roof of an entry way to a home above a porch.  I used the railing wall to create floor to ceiling posts and widened them to 8".  Ive adjusted the roof to have boxed eaves that are plumb.  Everything looks like I want it except right under the eaves where they hit the wall.  I can't figure out what controls this.  Any suggestions?

got me, looks like the roof was raised ~4 inches, and the wall moved in 2 inches and left a piece of the soffit there. or it is a ceiling plane poking through

Didn't raise the roof planes, though I did extend them beyond the gable wall.

Solver, please give me a hint.

Got it.  Needed to select "use Room Ceiling Finish" under Roof Plane Specification > Structure > Roof Layers > Ceiling
