dskogg Posted March 23 Share Posted March 23 I am trying to import a cad file for a window section, the original file didnt have a brick mold but the new one has a brick mold. Whenever i try to import cad file into chief i get the old sections, can anyone see if they can import and get the correct sections? This is what i want This is what i keep getting after import. dskogg Posted March 23 Author Share Posted March 23 Hi Eric, when you import them to chief is it this way as well? I wonder why my imports are wrong? I think its using an old block name from the first cad drawing i had that didnt have brick molds on. But i have told chief to import new blocks? Can you save in a chief file and upload? ericepv Posted March 24 Share Posted March 24 This is what I get when I import the file into Chief: I think what you need is the ability to export as a PDF which my DWG viewer won't do.
