Hi 

 

I've just installed CA 15 - ( which I  am trying to get used to ) When I try to use the "adjust material definition"  to change scale or color - this is the message I get and then I am booted out of CA and have to open and go back in again.  

 

any suggestions welcome

If you went from X11 to X15, there are going to be a lot of differences.  One of the big ones is that X15 is using a completely different rendering engine for all of the camera views. 

 

This looks like a problem with your video card or driver.  Check out this tech article for more info:
