Hardie Panel Reveals Joints or lines in 3d?

Hello all,

I'm working on a project that will be using smooth Hardie Panel extensively for the siding.  I'd like to be able to locate the reveals in 3d, some of them will be a bit random, deviating from the panel sizes.  I'd like this to show up in 3d, as well as the exterior elevations, and be able to dimension to it.  Ideally, you'd see the reveals, and have 3d affect to them, but even itf it's just a 3d line thatI can draw on the siding, that would work too.  What am I missing?  How would you all go about achieving this?

Jacob

Here's a link to a screenshot of the exterior elevation that the architect sent me.

it seems like a lot of work for something quite simple

It is a lot of work... and not always friendly to use, but I haven't found another way way. Can always do a wall def with the reveal backing showing, and then model individual panels with solids.. let me know if you find a simpler way.
