Pricing Kitchen Cabinets in Chief

Hello,

Is there a way to auto generate the cabinet layout pricing in Chief? Our company currently uses 2020 and are looking to switch. We can do the layout and get the cabinet pricing for that layout in 2020. Can Chief do this too? I saw a video that you can create a master list with pricing however with cabinets any modifications, color changes, door styles can all change the pricing. If we are using a specific manufacture, will it generate all their pricing? Or will I need to manually price everything out?

You would need to either manual price everything out...or build a system based on macros that can auto calc pricing...or price your cabinets and save to your library to be used later. Its about the only place that 2020 accels in, but you wont want to switch back once you start using Chief

Chief cannot do cut lists etc automatically either if needed ........... but macros may be workable?

Yes can do it with macros thankfully

The OP should know that those macros are not part of Chief and either need to be purchased of some Ruby skills are needed for programming them.

I think 2020 can output to CNC too can't it? in regard to the cut lists, something Chief cannot do either. (yet?)

Will it print out a list of the cabinets for us to be able to price it out manually? Would I use a schedule for that or can I print it without the use of a schedule. Lastly, If I use a schedule would we have to include it in the layout print out or can it be for office use. Such as adding the pricing for each cabinet in the schedule but not showing the pricing on all the paperwork. If that makes sense.
