Building plans for a remodel

Hello,

I am an Interior Designer working with X14 and wanted know how to build a set of drawings for a remodel.  I have drawn the as-built and want to keep it as I do a couple space plans for my clients.  Eventually I will want to do a set of construction documents and will use that as built to show walls being removed.  Is it best to use different sheets even though Chief thinks I am building an attic(this is a single story home)?

How do others handle remodel drawings?

Thank you,

Cheryl~

Oh, I typically find it's safest to at least mockup the whole house. Though you may be "just building an attic" right now, wait til that client comes back with more requests. That plan file may end up needing 2 floors below it - it's safer to model at least a basic shell and then just focus on the one area you're actually working on. Helps with camera views as well.
