HERETOGO Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 Hello, I am new to Chief Architect Primier, and have been doing a little bit of playing around, but much to learn. I have been watching videos on how to import drawings and trace them. I have started with the PDF file import and it seems to really slow down the performance of anything, almost to a crawl. I turn off the layer with the transferred PDF drawing and it speeds right back up again. I have the capability to import my drawings from the previous software I was using, and was just wondering which file is the best to use Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mattyt12 Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 DWG is probably the best, assign the imported file to a layer (reference e.g.) then lock it. That way you can snap to the CAD lines and trace walls etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
