X15 automatically adding symbol to library- is there a way to turn this off?

Alter a symbols stretch zones, resize the symbol, click ok. It automatically gets added to the library as a new symbol. Problem is that the new symbol retains the stretch zones.

When making generations of a symbol this is a pain. Have to delete that, click the one in plan and make it a new symbol to have it start with fresh stretch planes.

Is there a way to turn this off? I can see no reason I would ever want this to happen, just dumb IMO.

Yeah. Odd, had this happen 4 seperate times yesterday. Fist time figured it was pilot error, by the 4th was annoyed. Opened up same plan this morning intending to record, did exactly the same operations as yesterday but no longer happening. Don't know what or why but happy about it.
