mbblakesley
This has happened to me before but I can't remember the solution. My temporary dimensions are snapping to the outside of the door & window casing, as well as the outside surface of the wall. How do I reset it to be to the framing?? I can't find anything in the temporary dimension defaults Thanks!
richoffan
They are both set in the manual dimension default for the annotation scale you are using - 1/4, 1/2 etc. Make sure your wall main layer is the framing. Set the openings to center.

You can switch the active dimension default for various purposes, which you probably did inadvertently. I have added the Active Dimension Defaults Control drop-down tool to my toolbar so I can change out the settings if needed- usually temporarily.
