Firewood WallStack

Pinewallstack.calibzI'm new to Chief Architect, and CAD programs in general.  I was able to get some other calibz files other users created, so I thought I'd try to create something I wanted on my own and couldn't find.  I've included just an image of what I was going for, I don't think it looks as good as the example does, but if you find it useful I'd be happy to be know.

I'll keep trying to get it better as I learn, and try to incorporate the right texture for it instead of smooth round, and work on my stacking abilities.

In the image I've attached of 5 bundles stacked together I've noticed that I can't stack them on top of each other, so I have to (and you might need to try this) stack them as close as I can get, and then grab the lower resizing perimeter icon, and drag it into the stack below it, and then grab the top resizing icon, and drag it back to about what it was.

Like I mentioned, this isn't a perfect rendering but it does what I need it to just for the sake of 3D modeling, as it gets the idea across, but you will notice some floating log quarters in the stack.

Constructive criticism and any information on how to do it better will be appreciated.

Lastly, I wanted to make it because I didn't like what I was able to find in the regular library.

I;ve added a copy of the 1 single log quarter, so you can make a group of log quarters on your own, and a single row of log quarters that if you prefer can stack yourself, lastly I made a better stack block of log quarters, thats now much easier to stack

I've done it using 3D Warehouse split firewood, but it adds way to much poly count to the model.

Images on solid blocks would be much better.  Is this the way those are done?  I did not download the symbols.

No, I'm sorry, these also have many polylines.  I'm fairly new to this program and CAD software in general, I'm still learning and trying to figure out a better way.  However, if you download the newer Calibz file, " Firewood_WallStack_5high.calibz"  after it loads the first time, it shouldn't cause you any issues going further.  I'm not quite sure how much different I made it than the original calibz file "Pinewallstack.calibz" but I noticed when I would move the pinewallstack file, it had to run a process for all the polylines again, even just moving it a couple feet.  I don't have that issue with the newer aforementioned newer calibz file. Hope this helps.
