Stairs won't wrap

Try as I might following advice from all other "stair wrapping" topics, these won't do it for me. It is a single step to a sunken room.  Could build poly solid, but nice to have stairs to have nose pieces and trimmed risers.  Overlapping stairs leaves nosing off one of the runs.  Help out there?

Good suggestion.  Still have to create the riser manually, whereas stair gives "riser to floor" option. I don't know if the wrap is restricted by only being one stair or because I'm bumping a room divider / invisible wall.

According to the help:

Check Allow Wrap on the Style panel of the Staircase Specification dialog and the selected stairs can be wrapped around the corner of a deck or landing. Curved stairs and stairs with multiple subsections cannot be wrapped

 

 

I think this means that it only works for decks and landings and it won't work for a room with a lowered floor.  

 

I would just do it with landings, especially since you don't need any railings.  I would use two with a miter if you want to make the tread material look right.
