Maggie331 Posted January 27 Share Posted January 27 I was sent my drawing in a .dwg file. When I attempt to import the file, it all opens on 1 page, so each floor is stacked on top of the other. Solution para-CAD Posted January 28 Solution Share Posted January 28 I’ve never tried importing DWG to the layout file. I typically import it to a blank plan file and try to work with it there. DBCooper Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 Next time you have to import a dwg, I would import it into a plan file, not a layout. While you are in the "importing drawing assistant", you can select which layers you want to import and you can even map them to whatever Chief layers you want to using the "advanced layer mapping".
