Am I doing this correctly: Coloring each circuit for an electrical map

The electrical layer set enables "Electrical" as one of the visible layers.  Obviously...

 

I'm creating a basic map of my circuits so there's a reference that corresponds to the labeling on my main breaker panel.

 

If I wanted each circuit to be a different color, am I correct to think that I need to create a new layer definition for each circuit rather than having a single "Electrical" layer for the Electrical Plan View?

 

If there's a different way to do this I'd like to know, but this seems to be how it should be done, yes?

Select a CAD line or polyline, open it, and change its color to whatever you want.  Whole bunch of lines, all on same layer.  Each a different color.

What Gene said is very true. Your idea of making multiple copies of the circuit layers and individualizing them will give you much more control. The big plus is you do it once and save in the template for future plans
