Roof Ridges Not Showing In Elevations Or Orthographic Overview

I have a project where an addition to an existing building is wider than the original, but retains one wall extended to the end of the new build.

My problem is trying to get the ridge capping continuous over the original part of the building.  For some reason, I can get only half the ridge showing.  It is OK on the addition which is higher.

Can anyone help please?

Best Regards

The roof planes are not properly joined.  Select one of the offending roof planes and hit the join roof plane tool (the default keyboard shortcut is 2), and select the ridge of the adjacent roof plane.

Thanks for posting the plan; it makes it easy to find the soluntion

What Bill said. That will get you back the missing

section of ridge cap. To get rid of the gap in the

gable fascia board you need to adjust the Fascia

top heights and Ridge top heights for the two taller

roof planes.

My Apologies to all for "Falling off the edge" and not replying.

I finally solved it, and hope this helps others.

I had the same problem on 2 other projects, and solved it by checking every polyline on every Roof Plane -

make sure your "Angle" box is "Point Zero" - 0.0, 90.0, 180.0 270.0, and for Hip Ridges - 45.0, 135.0.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Best Wishes
