JKEdmo
Hello, In my beginner's quest to better understand things, I was curious about the wall polyline Chief produces, notably the highlighted message, "Polyline produced by 3D wall editor." What is this object's purpose / function? Thanks again, Jim

Is the polyline something normally produced by Chief and to be expected, or only when I manually tweak a wall? For example, override the wall heights. Doing so stops Chief from managing the wall and mostly creates more problems than it solves. Suggest asking here next time you feel the need to do some wall tweaking. Got it. Thanks for the quick response and insight. Jim
DBCooper
Normally, you shouldn't change the wall top or bottom, you should adjust the room floor or ceiling instead. One time you might need to edit the wall poly is when you need to build a stepped foundation. This article has some of the basics: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00579/controlling-wall-floor-and-ceiling-heights.html
