Electrical Components

Please help.

This is basic and I used to have them. Why do I no longer have horizontal Outlets in my library? Videos for electrical placements show there are vertical and horizontal 110 outlets. Al I have is 1 listing and it is vertical.

Oops, haven't updated my signature. Am running Chief Architect X14 on Windows 11.

I don't have it ether but you can rotate then in elevation view or in plan view select & use the Open Symbol

and rotate on the Y axis

But, need a little more help. Can you explain further how to rotate on the Y axis?

In elevation use the rotate function

 

Else select the receptacle & open the Symbol Dialog

As Alan pointed out they are now rotatable , since X12 I think?, so it seems Chief removed the horizontal outlet and the Cabinet mount too I believe as there is no need for these special symbols anymore though Floor and Ceiling mounted are still there.

Eric, thank you, also. But, how can I import from Chief Architect X10? I only see X12, 13 & 14 on my computer.

Your pic above shows X10?  did you remove it already?

 

You would Copy the  Objects you want to your User Library and then multi-select them ( with Ctrl) and then right Click > Export > save in X14 Folder and then use Install Library as normal to Import them.

I did remove x10. Only Kept 12, 13 & 14.

I turned it by changing the Y axis and copied it to y library, so I am good now.
