j2narchitecture
Hello. I am having trouble creating a dormer that is open to the first floor. My end goal is to have the exterior roof lines meet as in images Q3. When I join the roofs, the interior of the dormer is looking wonky. See image Q4. If I make the roofline as in Q1 and Q2 - it looks cleaner inside. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. Plan File
robdyck
You will need a custom ceiling plane to make the ceiling slope the way I think you'd like it to.
robdyck
OR...you could notch the main roof plane around the gable wall.
