Why is floor blocking shown as double line and beams and joists are shown as single line (single line framing selected).... is this normal

Hey Guys (and Gals)

 

Why is floor blocking shown as double line and beams and joists are shown as single line (single line framing selected)....  is this normal?

 

I had never noticed this.  

 

If double line display is selected,  all framing members shown as double line,  if single line is selected all framing shown as single line except joist blocking which is still shown as double line.

 

Any comments?   BTW, I think I like this....  I think

Yes, I did delete it because I suggested you could use a joist instead of blocking.

The trouble with that is you can't do staggered blocking as per your pictures, so I deleted the post as the suggestion was pretty lame.
