K80Guy
My Design-Build firm has grown and I'm looking to add another full-time designer. I've seen people in the past ask this forum but everyone seems to work for themselves so I'd like to see if you know if any colleges, universities, or tech schools are teaching design with Chief? Thanks for the help. Cory Kreith

Gawdzira
I know of no schools that use Chief for their CADD software. With that said, are you hiring for drafting or design and drafting. Very different in my mind. If you find a young grad with a tight portfolio it will be easy to get someone trained on whatever CADD software you are using. A young person with good computer knowledge can pick up a new software package quickly as they are less likely to fight the tools (that are not in CA but they are used to from ACAD). I actually would like to start an education program so I can develop drafting help but I think my local area is a bit too small.
