4hotshoez
I am setting defaults for a template plan when I have set all the cabinet colors to "white" from the generic color materials in the Core Catalog. BUT when I wanted to create a drawer base with 3 drawers with recessed panels, the panels came in a different color white called "Brite". Where does Chief control this default color? I want to change it. From time to time I need to modify cabinets to make custom and it is a pain to have multi-shaded cabinets if there is a place to control this. I know I can create a library of my own cabinets, but where is the control to make this process simpler?
DavidJPotter
There is, for Cabinets material settings in "Edit - Default Settings - Cabinets - Cabinet types (3)", just to be thorough there are also settings in "Edit - Default Settings - Materials" for cabinets though the senior area is "Edit Default Settings - Cabinets - Cabinet types - Materials", you miss one Default setting, it comes back to haunt you later. 4hotshoez
I did all of that, but I re-checked and found the difference in "Edit - Default Settings - Materials - Cabinet Door/Drawer" it was set to "Brite" not "White". That should do it.
