Spiral Stairs

I have used the curved stair tool to draw a spiral stair case. Is there an adjustment to produce a round outer circumference instead of the polygon configuration? Current view, as attached below shows straight edged at each tread which produces an polygon rather than a circle.

You can do this using landings instead of the staircase tool, You have to do some trickery to be able to control stringers though.
