ChiefUserBigRob 16 Posted January 23 Guys, I am not too good with manual mouldings. I need to add a piece of moulding where it's circled but it keeps putting it on the floor. Why can't we give it a height above floor. I draw the line in plan view and make it a 3d moulding polyline. Apparently I am doing something wrong. The mouldings you see in the pic are automatic with the cabinets.
robdyck 496 Posted January 23 Hey Rob, You probably shouldn't use a 3d molding there. I'd find the correct crown molding in the library and then when you draw a molding, it will use that molding automatically. Then you can open the molding dbx and adjust it's height. The whole time I was thinking the height was for the height of the molding so I was inputting 3". It's actually the height above floor. I am used to seeing height in absolute, terrain and finished floor options. Thanks guys.
