BenReece 0 Posted November 3, 2020 Can someone tell me why my deck railing is doing this? And explain how I can make it stop doing this? I want to have iron rods for balusters so I changed it in the library and it wants to give me all these rows of iron rods. Thank you for the advice!

BenReece 0 Posted November 3, 2020 I opened the object, went to newels/balusters tab > balusters > library > fencing & millwork > ironwork > pole
solver 1584 Posted November 3, 2020 Not sure exactly what you want, but you can probably get that railing just by changing some parameters.

Change the railing wall to use Panels, then select them.
GeneDavis 132 Posted November 3, 2020 Your iron baluster symbol should just be a single object. I have a Model 94 Winchester in my library as a baluster symbol. Just one. The spacing is set in the stairs dialog. I've another, a pair of boards with a cutout in each, always used as the pair that make up the symbol, and the symbol is set at the right orientation.
