PMMully 1 Posted October 30, 2020 Hi All, Wondering what the best process is for showing demolition and changes from current to the future state? I have searched the reference and tutorial docs but have not found anything that describes the best practice other than saving file revisions. TIA = Thanks In Advance. PMMully 1 Posted November 24, 2020 I worked with another member here recently and we came up with two options: 1) Continue doing work as I am, saving PLAN files as revisions. The pros are the history, the cons are multiple files. 2) Go to the layer set approach as called out in the kitchen demo video. While I get it, it seems a bit weak for the more complex demo sets. Other ideas are welcome!
Kiwideziner 37 Posted November 24, 2020 Plan revisions is the way I have always gone. It gives you the history, a place to go back to if you have a disaster, or the client changes their mind back to plan 1. Just had that happen this week, did a major redesign then got a call "we want to go back to the original brief". It just cost them the extra redesign time, as all I did was open the last original design did a save as and kept working from where I was.
