winterdd
every project is a new adventure. i want to have the the top of this polyline solid beam trimmed to the underside of the roof. would the outline have to be drawn in a elevation view then subtracted in a plan view? Chopsaw
Draw all three pcs in an elevation view from the side. No subtraction necessary. That will be quite the beam. 30+ ' span ?
winterdd
Ok, so three pieces. I was trying to make it one. Not quite 30' span but have some more to do for sure. Thanks
Chopsaw
If you need to miter the corners then you need to add another step but try to draw it as it will be built as much a you can.
