ScottieR
Please help! I have a walkout basement on a corner portion of my building. The house sits on the top of a hill. I have created contours based on the actual grading plan. For the life of me, i can not seam to figure out how to flatten the terrain at the walkout portion of the basement only. I have tried elevation regions, retaining walls, terrain breaks, lowered regions, etc. Nothing seems to give me a smooth and accurate flat walkout area. Any ideas or assistance? thanks!! glennw
Post the .plan file - not the layout file. It looks like you need to break the Elevation Lines where you want the flat area and then use Terrain Breaks where you have the retaining walls. My advice is to use ordinary walls and a Terrain Break rather than using Retaining walls. Use an elevation region for the flat area.
ScottieR
Thanks Glenn. Is there a video out there somewhere that best demonstrates using terrain breaks? thanks for your help!
