KiwiArc
Hi I have just upgraded my pc from Vista old to newest make and model. I am trying to install my Chief10 on it which I have been using since I bought it new. It does not recognize the dongle.and wont startup. I have not found any software updates for Windows10 Any suggestions where I might find this so I can update the drivers? I appreciate all the help. jmsisco
As a temporary solution you might try to run Chief in compatibility mode.
DavidJPotter
I have X4 through X12 currently active on my PC. For the older versions that used a dongle like X1-X3 you simply go to the maker's website and download Windows 10 compatible software drivers (FREE) and then you are all set. There is a page on the Chief Architect website with links to dongle makers website, take a look. DJP
