wall not rebuilding to proper height

Can someone look at the exterior wall on the second floor high side and see why it is not rebuilding to meeting the trusses leaving a gap in the wall?

Try clicking on and opening the wall and go to structure tab and make sure default wall top and default wall bottom are clicked.  Looks like it was manually adjusted in an elevation mode.

That's for expansion & contraction, just fill with backer rod and silicone. 

Is the bottom of your truss at the height you want?  If so, is your room cln'g ht. set to the proper height?

What's that weird little bit of wall in the floor truss area?

It has to have been manually adjusted (dragged in a 3d or elevation view.

When you do so, the program turns ownership over to you and will not change them to as changes to structure happen.

 

In general, try to keep everything using defaults. Like the floor structure settings from yesterday.

As Erick wrote let chief work for you.  99.9% of the time the walls do not need to be adjusted manually.
