Roof Cricket

Recommended Posts

Searching the knowledge base, chief training videos and you tube but cannot grasp how to build a cricket to connect the rear addition roof to the main roof. My goal is to pitch the cricket away from the addition roof toward the main roof and at the same time follow the main rear roof. Because the rear addition roof is higher than the main roof the customer doesn't like seeing the addition roof peak from the front of the house. I have been working on this problem for two days straight and have created dozens of roof planes adjusting sizes and locations angling addition roof. Tried many combinations without success.

Using Chief Architect Premiere X11 and Windows 10 Pro.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

See if this helps, no matter what you have the procedures are basically the same.

It's helpful to have the plan file to work with.

You want something like these 2 roof planes?
