Condor0811
I added a terrain outline to my drawing and ever since I have not been able to turn off terrain cursor. I am using Chief Ver 11.
Chopsaw
Open your Terrain Perimeter DBX ( Dialogue Box ) and under the General Tab select "Auto Rebuild Terrain" or just go to Terrain Specification drop down toolbar - "Build Terrain" every time you make an adjustment to the terrain and cursor comes back on. It is just a reminder that you have made changes that have not been updated.

When you have a very complex terrain where it takes a really long time to rebuild.

Not sure I have had to do it but if you were working on a large terrain and rebuilds were slowing your system while doing field data entries where 3D feedback was not necessary you could turn it off so you could do several entries before doing a manual update which could even be assigned to a hotkey for efficiency

There was a series of versions of chief before the X series but not sure it went to 11 so just to be clear include the X when referring to the X series of programs please.
