RInesta
Long time user of Chief Architect, currently running x11. Looking to replace my desktop as work has gotten more mobile over the past several years. Any suggestions on a laptop that can handle the graphics? Have always been on Windows OS... but considering making the change to a MacBook Pro if anyone can convince me it's worth it since I live in a Apple concentric world (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) outside of my office desktop. Thanks!

Thanks! Chief runs brilliantly in a touch screen environment especially for field measurement- The next Surface Book should be a killer- Macbook is certainly a nice machine, not a great value IMO. I currently use an iPad Pro remoted into my desktop for offsite work
RInesta
Thanks for the the reply Renerabbitt. I agree that a touch screen would be nice. I actually purchased a Surface 6 not too long ago but it couldn’t keep up, so I had to return it. May have to wait on the next Surface Book!!! Chrisb222
The problem I had with touch screen was clients reaching to point something out on the design and wreaking havoc! Easy enough to turn off the touch screen function, but something I didn't anticipate...
