Changing Defaults beyond the default options

I was posed an interesting question today and Im not sure how to address their issue. i want to change a default in the cabinet options that is more involved then the defaults you can set with the little wrench defaults.

 

Let me lay the ground work out for you. In Chief, at 24" a base cabinet comes in with a single auto door. At 25" width, that same cabinet will auto double door. The standard cabinets we spec and supply on projects, at 24", is a double door.  

 

Now I know I can set the default cabinet type to be a double door cabinet, however any cabinet under 24 ( 18, 15, 12 ) will take the double door, which we do not want. We want it to remain as a single door. Essentially I want to know if there is a way I can change the cut off point for a cabinet to automatically generate the double doors down to 24" or greater, instead of 25" or greater. Advise would be appreciated. Thank you.

Don't know the answer to changing the default, but you could put a 24" cabinet in your library with double doors and use when needed. Not ideal but easier than changing every time.
