Electrical Symbols

The callouts for the electrical symbols (threeway, dimmer, timer, etc) do not change scale with the electrical labels. I am working in 1/4" scale and the symbols are tiny. I am receiving complaints from my builder that they cant read the symbols.  Is there a way to change the size on the symbols?

You will need to edit the 2D cad blocks to you liking and assign them to the symbols and then save them to your user library where they can be referenced to be used as electrical defaults.  You can customize the symbol as well as the font for size and font color but unfortunately only one default for each plan template as far as I know.

This is correct. So far, the only symbol that I've changed the cad block for is the ceiling smoke detectors. 99.9% of my plans are done at 1/4" scale and it's real difficult to see the smoke detectors. I've edited the cad block for smoke detectors and placed them in my user library.

I would like to be able to display a dishwasher and disposal outlet in the position shown on the attachment (back of the cabinet).  The way I got this to work is to insert a wall, place the outlet, make it invisible, and turn off the invisible wall display.  Is there an easier way?  Outlets can be placed on the side of the island cabinet, why not on the back?

How do you get the 2D symbols in the electrical legend to show up at the same size that they are in the plan (or a size that is desired)?  Is there a way to control the size of the 2D symbols in electrical legends?  The 2D symbols come in so large that they blow the legends right off the page.  If I scale the legend down, the text becomes illegible.

      Hi,
New to Chief Architect and a Mac Use with Version 2021.  I can't seem to find the Centerline Symbol in this program, yet when I google it, some videos show the symbol in Dimensions.  However, nothing is there for this symbol in this version.   Please advise.
      Thanks!

Building on the videos Eric (Solver) made recently...I did this video to show how you can construct a tapered paneled column in plan view, using p-solids and a molding polyline. It's a fast method...and the best part is you don't have to use a 3D molding polyline.

      Check it out....
