Uncheck Roof Cuts Wall At Bottom. That's used when you want no wall below the roof.

Pull the 2 roof planes away from the wall, then snap them back in place.

eric i did exactly what you did with no results...could i have different settings?  I spoke to ca and they said to add a polyline solid to fix this.

Thanks eric, this works, i still do not know how you can do this and i can not.  I tried a sample plan and the same thing happened?

And also chief told me there was no solution other than polyline solids etc.

part of your problem was your walls did to line up,  hence the roof snapping was not working.

here is a screen shot of both plans...exactly the same dimensions for walls as eric's...still does not work.

There must be something else?

I opened plan,  selected two roof planes and moved up a level (for no reason),  I selected wall removed cut wall at bottom,  noticed that the wall was not in line with wall below,  hit the button to align,  then select to roof edges and moved them against wall,  they auto snapped in place,  plan fixed.

I am assuming Eric did the same thing,  but he did not mention he aligned the walls.

I did notice the walls not aligning, but did nothing other than what's shown in the video.

i tried both the wall align tool selecting upper wall and align below and also adjusted upper wall so the studs lined up.

The walls are different, upper has siding and 3/8" sheathing, the lower 1/2" drywall.  The upper main layer is set to the sheathing.

Pulled walls away and snapped back to upper wall and still does not work.
