Wall Details Folder In Project Browser

hi,

 

i see theres a Wall Details for in the Project Browser

 

what is the function of it? what function of CA uses that folder?

 

i just wondering if i'm not using CA's to its full potential features.

After wall framing is ordered built you can open that tool to view and edit per wall, wall framing. If you have not yet built wall framing, there is nothing to view per wall. Try it and see.

Once you have framed the walls, select a wall, and the edit tool (called the Open Wall Detail tool) will become available in the edit toolbar. You could also select any wall from the Wall Details folder in the Project Browser. Again your walls must be framed before this tool is available. Once you click on the tool you will get a CAD detail of the wall where you can easily edit the framing.
