saints
Hello, Can someone please tell me how I can make the flooring in each or my rooms that are not divided by a wall a different color/material?I have wood flooring in my living room and tile in my kitchen. I do not have a anything separating the flooring in these two rooms other than the shoe-molding. Can someone please assist? Thanks,
justmejerry
There is lots of different ways of doing what you want if I understand your question correctly. Could you post a pic or the the plan and give a little more detail what you specifically want to do.
SNestor
Use the "room divider" wall type to create an invisible division between two adjacent spaces... The pic of the plan shows the "room divider" wall...I placed carpet on one side and hardwood flooring on the other.

bestbuyfloor123
The best thing about room dividers is that you save space. Maybe you can make a recycled wooden pallet room divider that you can easily hang things on. Or use decorative Wood Wall Room Divider.
