Avinash_Chand
I am new to Chief Architect, so I wanted to know if something like this is able to be done in the program.
DRAWZILLA
Chief is mainly a residential program, some people here can do light commercial plans but your post might be a little much as everything would be custom made and not the standard for Chief. Avinash_Chand
Can't it be done with the 3D tools? I've seen some of the things that you can make with Chief Architect, they seem so complicated and detailed that something like this shouldn't be to difficult to make. I don't need them to be operable in the model, I just have to show something similar to this in finished 3D renderings.
DRAWZILLA
Don't get me wrong, you can do just about anything with Chief, it's about weather there is a program out there that's built for that kind of project.
glennw
Yes, that looks possible without too much trouble. Those louver blades shouldn't be too hard to build with the 3D tools - as long as you are familiar with the 3D tools. Once you have built 1, I would assign it to a Distribution Path which would make it easy to change the spacing, rotation angle, etc., for all the louvers in one go. For a more comprehensive answer, can you post a detail drawing of the blades?
Avinash_Chand
Here's a detail that I drew to go along with the project. I also attached an elevation view as well. I don't think It's that difficult to make; I just need to represent it in 3D form as it's shown in the detail.
