Corey5880
Hey. I am trying to finalize a set of plans I have drawn and by doing that I am going thru and deleting certain measurements that are duplicates or not needed. When I go to delete a measurement one wall, it highlights measurements along the entire wall. I only want to delete the one or two of the measurements along that wall, but cannot figure out how to delete them without deleting the entire row of measurements. Does anyone know if there is a way to delete just the measurements I want to without deleting all the others? Thanks!
glennw
Or..if you are talking about something different.... Open the dimensions dbx...Segments panel...check the appropriate segment and the Blank Segment. The beauty of this method is that it maintains the integrity of the dimension line while it appears that the dimension line is broken. Or...delete the whole dimension line and draw shorter individual ones.

One other little benefit for anyone who doesn't know it...You can also still use the blank segment for moving and resizing. Its a handy way to keep dimensions around that you need to work with but that you may not want to actually display. Just select your object and then float your pointer over the area where the blank segment is until you get the little pointing finger icon...
