Recommended Posts

THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY, NO I ONLY HAVE ONE DOOR SCHEDULE. HOWEVER ON THE PLAN IT SHOWS TWO BUBBLES WITH TWO DIFFERENT NUMBERS.

You do have 2 door schedules.

Maybe you have one in a CAD Detail and another on the Floor Plan.

Maybe you have a copy on two different floors.

do you have windows stacked on top like a transom but not blocked that would give you 2 numbers also are the numbers the same that would indicate 2 windows sharing the same area if they are different then there is something that is not blocked

What they said.  Only possible causes:

  • Duplicate door schedule.
  • Additional windows.

It's one or the other - nothing else will do that.

In addition to looking for transoms, with window tool active, marquee select at a place where you think two or more windows, and look at lower left of screen.  It will tell you how many actually selected (only works with multiple, not one).  I've seen copy-paste operations go weirdly off the rails! Usually a PICNIC, but still.

Oops - I mean Doors - but all same concepts.  And since doors rarely have stacked components, like windows, my money is on some duplicate schedule hiding somewhere.
