mcrump
Can someone please help me attach this curved roof at the entry with the adjacent roof. I've tried everything I know and have been banging my head against the wall for what seems like forever. Maybe it's simply not possible. Thanks! javatom
Create a notch in the main roof and pull it back so the the two roof planes no longer overlap. Click on the back edge of the curved roof, hit #2 then click on the notched in part of the other roof plane. The software will create a perfect intersection. You actually don't even need to create the notch. All you have to do is place the necessary break(s). The key to properly using the Join Roof Planes tool that I think a lot of people initially have trouble with (myself included) is that you can't simply select the correct roof plane. You MUST select the correct EDGES.
