sharpe_c
Greetings The framing at 45 degree corners is not mitering as it would be built in practice... as 2 - 22.5 degee cuts... I am trying to detail some tall walls and the framing is not showing up as I wish and I cannot seem to change angle on end of plates to reflect reality..Help
Alaskan_Son
I made this video to cover your issue and one other issue for another user. I used a 90 degree wall intersection but the same basic principle applies. You have to use the Edit Wall Layer Intersections tool...
Chopsaw
Post a screen shot or a sample plan and someone will take a look for you. The miter tool still needs some improvement to be perfectly accurate. It usually works in 2D but is often a different story in 3D. You may need to draw in some polyline solids if you need something custom exactly represented with precision.
