DesignPro-Diane
I find it very useful in bathrooms to attach wall sconce fixtures to cabinet sides. When I try to do this with my X8 Chief, I can not get the light fixture to attach. Can this be done? Running Chief Architect X8 on a PC with Windows 10. 8-core processor, 16 gigs ram, gaming video card, etc....
Alaskan_Son
In X9 this is completely auto as they added a special "Cabinet Mounted" functionality and setting. In X8 it's a little trickier but doable. You have to add the symbol to your user library, Open Symbol while it is in the library, change the y offset to zero, and under the Options tab change it to Floor Mounted. Now you can use it. OR...place a small section of room divider alongside your cabinet. That works too.
DC7Designs
I have X9 but don't know how to use the cabinet mounted functionality. I've searched help and videos. Nothing. How can I do this? I'm using a wall cabinet as a column with a panel front and want to put the lights on it. Thanks! Deb

DC7Designs
Ok, I switched the views. I zoomed into the cabinet at an angle to get close and included an up close of the vanity in the floor plan too.
