Bonadesign
The attached screen shots show a simple slab with footings for the bottom of a pool. I am at a total loss as why , no matter what I do, I can not figure out where to change he depth of this footing. I found how to change the width, but the chosen width only shows in grey when selected, but does NOT show in plans view (where are the old dashed lines showing footing slab?) and does not show in section. It still shows the original 16" width in section no matter what I change the width to, or how many times I rebuild and refresh. With each new "improvement" I get more and more lost as to how to work the foundations, and footings. Is a good tutorial on changing depth, width of footings, and how to make show correctly? 11 27 plan.zip
HumbleChief
Try going down to the foundation level and double clicking on each foundation wall. Should be a 'height' setting you can change. Make sure auto rebuild foundation is off. " It still shows the original 16" width in section no matter what I change the width to, or how many times I rebuild and refresh. " You may have typed this wrong but won't the width show the same in section matter its size/width? Did you mean depth? If so check above for one method. BrownTiger
Is this inground pool or above ground? Are these footers for a deck / slab? What will they be supporting wood deck? For inground https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00773/creating-an-in-ground-swimming-pool.html For above ground https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00852/creating-a-deck-around-an-above-ground-pool-or-spa.html
