IvanCyr
Hi, I searched the forums for how I might be able to do this but to no avail unfortunately. I have a customer wanting me to use X5. I do have it installed on my "old" computer but wish to use my much more wizbang one with about 10 bizillion more cores and speeeeeeed. I have the files which were downloaded from Chief way back when and I've copied them over to my new computer and tried to run the downloader.exe file. It does "start" the installation and asks me for a file location but once there, it errors out. The error is, "The server returned an error response. 403 = Forbidden Abort" Any ideas? Thanks. Joe_Carrick
I would guess that you're trying to install X5 on a Windows 10 Computer. It probably won't work. You could call CA Tech Support - they're probably the only source for answering your question.

Joe_Carrick
I have X5 installed on my system. But it was there when I upgraded to Windows 10. I think your problem has to do with the "Install" program itself. Hopefully CA can help.
jcaffee
You can try running the installer in compatibility mode. Right-click on the installer file and select Properties; go to the compatibility tab. I would try Windows 7 first and then work your way backwards (if needed) until there is a version that works.
