mikelcooke 0 Posted September 15, 2016 When dropping a sink in a multifaced cabinet (like vanity combo) a generated partition shows . Is there a way to get rid of this, other than the temporary surface delete.
solver 1574 Posted September 15, 2016 Posting a simple plan, or at least a picture will help.
MarkMc 532 Posted September 15, 2016 easier to do than explain-plan attached, open the cabinet DBX, look at contruction and face items. Key is getting a blank area instead of a vertical partition, need to use traditional overlay and adjust the overlap but also works for inset. mikelcooke 0 Posted September 16, 2016 Thanks Mark, See what you mean.... in your overlay model the separations between the drawers should be doubled as well for perfect appearance to account for uniformity of reveal. I'm sure you know that ! Nice work around. Thanks , Mike
MarkMc 532 Posted September 16, 2016 Yeah, I hate using traditional overlay hacks for an number of reasons-like I miss thing Had a thought and checked and the "blank area" hack works with standard full overlay-so cabinet can still be used to get openings for maker.
