Just did a call center and used the stock "cubicles" from the library. I was hoping that they were somewhat "manufacturers sizing". Same as toilet partitions, there were still some modifications needed. Most installers work with premade or industry standard sizes when possible for cost efficiency. Custom panel sizes may be prohibitive in cost, I'm not sure. I've installed partitions on a couple of commercial baths that were sent to jobs without an installer. I just followed their layout. There may be a standard similar to 3" increments for cabinets. We did our restrooms at the recreation center a couple of years ago, but I did not talk with the partition contractor nor did I look up a website for details.

I like that. The library items are difficult to manage. I would like to know how you got the vertical (newels) to be rectangular instead of square. i.e. 1X6

Most of my commercial work uses bathrooms, however, when the occupancy requires multiple WC's and or urinals I have to use the stalls. 

I have struggled with the conversion thing and tried PDF to DWG, but it will not convert Raster images, only vector. A single line could be a lot of segments too. I've never used BB, but the permit office here uses it and can process plans submitted in PDF if it has an electronic seal by an engineer.

With ceiling and floor tile, you have to determine whether you want a whole tile in the center or a half tile. That will determine the width of the tiles at the edges. 

In the CAD menu in the toolbar, there is a dropdown with the option of " Cad detail from view". When I started out, I had plans that were some CA and some ACAD sheets using the same border and title block. 85% of drafting is editing and annotation and ACAD excels at that. All of my designs originate in Chief for the builder and owner. The Construction Documents are all 2D cad converted from CA. Personal preference. CA is an invaluable tool for me, but I do have more than one hammer in my bucket. 

I think you are right. I started converting to CAD detail only recently. I have no idea why. I just sent an elevation direct from view to dwg and it worked fine here.

I have experimented with the window method...I just don't think it looks correct in "plan view"...but I'm not an expert. Still learning. 

Not to worry. I convert everything to Cad and do Con Docs out of the program, so your method will work better for you.

Good point. However - each section would be identical. P-solids allow you to customize each section as needed. Maybe the spacing of the posts is unequal...or a couple of sections have arched trim. 

I used OOB stock window (fixed glass and door(glass) resizable and shapable. Just showing the transparency of the screen fabric. I have also used polyline solids for the vertical and horizontal framing for a more realistic view.

A number of years ago, I made a fixed window with narrow mullions and using multiple copy. The screened window  in my user library (now) is see through and width and height is adjustable as with any window. I have also used the fabric screen to quickly achieve a visual. I never did try to adjust the transparency of the fabric or even see if it was an option. I also saw the glass block method, but I didn't try it because I had my own configuration already.  

Sketchfab has VR capability. I have uploaded a number of Designs for free. I don't know if the VR is free. DJP may have more information about Sketchfab and it's capability.

A wall mounted waste can is pretty close. Can't imagine why we don't have one. 90 % of the new homes have one in their garage or utility room.

I guess a suggestion is required.

I have mentioned that there was a complete set of central vacuum symbols in the versions prior to X1, when the libraries were by ART. I don't know if CA inherited the libraries and just converted only those that they deemed important or if they created their own symbols. I think Dermott worked for ART prior to the CA purchase and may know if they are available for conversion to the new library format. I have migrated some as new versions come out, but I hadn't used the vacuum symbols since about '95. I still have most of the people and animal images somewhere that I have brought forward.

I think the central vacuum symbols may have been dropped from the library when CA bought out ART. 

I upgraded from the HP110 nr to the T120 and I'm very pleased. If I needed more publishing, however, I'd have gone to the T520. My needs are less now and the T120 is excellent.

​Build the 2nd floor to cantilever over the first floor (width of roof overhang). Align knee walls with first floor walls. Create the attic spaces (narrow) within the overhang.

I think this is a dormer using attic walls solution. Online video 1523. 

I tried to use some of the James Hardie products on one of my projects and it looks like there is no pattern attached.  Have I missed something or is this a big disappointment for my construction drawings?  Having the correct product for Ray Trace is great but not if it doesn't translate into the plans.

The default for the Hardie material is "Area". Change to strip with the adjust material tool.

CA offered both the dutch door and cafe doors in the ART versions of Chief. A lot of the library was never converted to the program when bought out. It would be nice if Chief Architect could update some of the old library items to the new calibiz files. I would think they bought the library from ART and have them somewhere.

Does anyone know what the main diferences between the T520 and the T120

I have the T120. Prints Arch C in 40 secs. Arch D in 70 secs. The T120  doesn't come with a stand. Mine sits on top of the old 110 Plus stand. The T520 is much faster and comes with a stand. Best check the HP store for more information. Oh, and it's wi-fi. Could print from my phone if I want.
