Gimp is an open source application that has most of the same tools as Photoshop. I use it as my image editor. https://www.gimp.org/
Inkscape is an open source application similar to Illustrator. https://inkscape.org/

You should care about the baseline because it determines how the wall and roof objects interact.
(Just like what you define as the main layer of a wall will effect how the model builds.)

I think the only place where they call it a "Boston Hip" is in Boston (Do the Irish hate the Dutch?). Until I knew better I used to call that design a "Texas Hip" until I started using Chief, so I am not just accusing Bostionan's of Architectural bigotry, I myself have suffered from that malady.
DJP.
I live in the Northeast and went to architecture school in Boston. Today is the first day I heard the term "Boston Hip."

Chief framing handles regular and repetitive framing well.
Custom and specialized conditions need to be created manually.

Confirm your walls are aligned floor to floor.
Are there different wall types on the two floors or are they the same?

Check to make sure the layer "Opening Indicators" is turned on.

I like toggl (toggl.com)
It has a browser interface and a synced app.

Almost, but not quite. Have a closer look at the pic in the orig. post.

You can also achieve that look by fiddling with the cabinet face component settings (which is basically what Graham mentioned). I made the end panel as a p-solid.

Draw them as they would be built - likely a perimeter created by typical stud walls.

That works, thanks.
How would you run the facia past the gutter to hide the end cap of the gutter?
And, when you use a 2nd shadow board the top one runs past the bottom.
If the complexity got to that point I'd likely model it with psolids.

What about using a ventless condensing dryer?

Zero out the Gable Fascia on the Structure Tab
Create the gable trim with a shadow board specified as "Gable Only"

Line type is an option on the plan display tab of the cross section dialog box.

Thanks Eric,
This just began showing up in a few of my plans. It might be a known issue, but it was new to me.
Glad you knew the fix.

Can you "Save As" ?
-
I'm guessing it is exactly what the warning is telling you - too many characters or invalid characters in the name.
Try saving it with a different name.

Copy and paste your edited schedule in to the new plan.

I don't know of any training offerings in the north-east.
Here's a good place to start. They are done well.

Chief's automatic roof, while hideous, is a better solution for the rain.
