  1. So leaving my layers weights alone, I set the line scale to inches, then played with the denominator. I think I have settled, for my layer weights, 1/300. Is this how it should be worked out? Thanks, Rick
  2. I think what maybe the confusion is... I had set up line weights to correspond with my plotter, now Chief comes along with this line scaling. So all the line weights that are currently on my layers are now wrong? Drawings coming from older drawing files. Dimensions were 2. Leader lines and cad details were 3. Property Line 8, Setback Lines 6. Medium border lines were 4 & 6 and bigger was 8. ETC Anyone had to approach line weights from this standpoint? Does anyone have a set of line weights list and their sizes they're currently using or is there a sample .jpg anywhere? Thanks Rick
  3. Why can I change the line weights in and elevation view but when I send from a plan they seem too thin? Plan has several line weights noted.
  4. Hey Renerabbitt, That did it I double clicked on the text button, that took me to default styles for text and all the categories, windows, door etc. I edited them all. Thanks, Rick
  5. Okay, I found it. In the window dialog box, find Fame, and either Check Fit To Frame or UnCheck Has Frame. Still looking for a font change on labels for doors & windows...
  6. I am bringing in 9.5 files and they and their layout files come in surprisingly well with these issues... 1. Windows in these plans have these lines floating inside the windows that look like extension lines with no dimensions. There on all windows which is a default window. I have resolved this in the past, but I have forgotten. 2. How do I globally change the font on the door & window labels? Thanks Rick
  7. This is slightly off topic but how do I change the default arrowhead for ever more? Sorry I'm using X6.
  8. Hey Mick, Hold on... I HAVE the 9.0 Viewer. I never thought about using it to view and/or print 9.5 files?!?! WOW! I wonder if the Viewer will install to Windows 10, but maybe even to my Virtual Windows XP Pro? By the way I have X5 and X6. You might not have known this. Thanks for the links as well!! Rick
